2012-2013 Hoosick Falls Bowling Team Season Preview

November 30, 2012 By eastwickpress

submitted by Coach Lang
The Hoosick Falls bowling team has both experienced bowlers and some JV bowlers who are ready to step up to Varsity and help the team have another successful season. Members of the team this year are  Seniors – Bryan Callahan (Captain), Josh Conn, Josh Reveal and Logan Brogue, Sophomores – Ken Marbot and Charlie Whitman, Freshman – Josh McCart, Jennifer Sargood, Stephen Surdam, Kyla Day and Catherine Whitman, Eighth Grade –  Jonathan Bossoni and William Wolfrum, Seventh Grade – Anthony Hurlburt and Caleb Jones.
“The team knows that they will have to work hard all year long to do as well as we did last year. We have a solid team of good bowlers with some depth that will help win a lot of matches. They know they have to take the season one game at a time and one match at a time. We have some bowlers who don’t have a lot of Varsity experience so each match will be a learning experience. With the experience of our four returning Varsity bowlers – Bryan Callahan, Josh Conn, Josh McCart and Stephen Surdam, I hope they can give the team the leadership that will be needed to succeed throughout the season. Up and coming bowlers Ken Marbot, Josh Reveal and Logan Brogue should help fill in for the great seniors that we lost from last year’s team; all three have been bowling great this year and I feel that they are going to give us the depth that we will need to win our matches. Again, the entire team is a great group of kids who are willing to work hard throughout the season to achieve our goals,” said Coach Lang.
