HFCS PTA Fall Festival Celebrates Its 12th Year

The HFCS PTA is proud to announce its featured raffle items for the Twelfth annual Fall Festival being held on Saturday, October 20, from 9 am to 3 pm at the Hoosick Falls Central School. Each year the featured raffle items are always an event in themselves, and 2012 will be no exception – the public can get a sneak peek at them prior to the Festival up until October 19 at the Hoosick Federal Credit Union.

The fabulous prizes are a Will Moses print entitled “Pumpkins On The Green” custom framed by Peg Caron, a “Mommy & Me” package including a hand embroidered baby quilt donated by Sue Hale, a hand-knitted baby sweater made by Lynn Steller and hand-knitted cap by Sarah Bushey and a manicure and pedicure donated by Maggie’s Beauty Shop, a “Family Night Out” package to include Great Escape Indoor Water Lodge passes and certificates to Bianca’s, Falls Diner, Barbecue Recreation and Caricatures By Jenny.
Take a chance to win any or all of the prizes, and enter as many times as you’d like!
Tickets cost $1 per or $5 for six and are available for purchase prior to the festival from various PTA members, the Hoosick Federal Credit Union and at the Grand Union on October 13 and 14, from 9 am to 3 pm.
All proceeds from Fall Festival help the PTA host family-oriented events, volunteer time in support of classroom activities, offer funding for countless programs and events, and much more.
This fun-filled event features crafters and vendors, games and activities for the kids, a Cake Walk, a bake sale, food and beverages, several raffles for adults and kids, entertainment, Animaland¨ (a chance for youngsters to stuff their own collectible animals) and much more! Returning this year will be the Haunted Hall from11 am to 2 pm. All proceeds from Fall Festival help the PTA host family oriented events, volunteer time in support of classroom activities and offer funding for countless programs and events.
There are just a few vendor spaces remaining for this heavily attended event, and they can be reserved by contacting Molly Holbritter at 518-686-4512. For more information or to volunteer for this event, contact Susan Senecal at 518-378-6056.
