On Saturday Westfall Village, half way between West Sand Lake and Averill Park on Rt. 43, will be the end point of the Town of Sand Lake Bicentennial parade. Beginning at 10 am at the former Sand Lake School on Rt. 43, the parade continues to Old Route 66, to Gettle Road and thence back to Rt. 43 and Westfall Village. Following the Parade this 92 acre site will be the hub of activities on August 25 and 26 for young and old. Trolley tours, children’s games, vendors and exhibitors of all sorts, a vintage car cruise, special music, a 3k run/walk and more will complement an interfaith service and dedication of the time capsule and announcement of raffle winners on Sunday. Look for the elegant gazebo.
