The Sand Lake Bicentennial Planning Committee (SLBPC) announces cancellation on June 12 at the Sand Lake Post Office of the white commemorative envelope celebrating the Town’s 200th birthday. The painting of Glass Lake by Joseph Hidley and the cancellation stamp, a porch, part of our motto “a place of picnics, porches, progress and preservation,” by artist Diane Applin sets off this honor to the Town handsomely.
This collectable will be available from members of the SLBPC and at the Town Clerk’s office for three dollars each after June 12.
