Students wandered through the Hoosick Falls Central High School gym on Friday, April 27, visiting one exhibit after another. The Health Fair offered hands on information on skin and hair care, hygiene, CPR and an opportunity to dance with Wii. There was information on the hazards of synthetic marijuana and tobacco and an opportunity to learn about nursing careers. Students could sample SoNu water, smoothies, milk, yogurt and hummus. They could try to walk a straight line

wearing goggles that simulated vision while intoxicated and learn how to relax and lower blood pressure through biofeedback. All in all, the event offered students ways to improve their health and well being through fun stuff and the serious stuff, including violence and bullying prevention. There was something of value for anyone who happened to stop by.
