Neither cold nor wind nor rain can stop an early spring baseball game. That was obvious on Wednesday, April 4, when Hoosick Falls played Greenwich at home. The teams had it all, dropping temperatures, wind and a 20 minute stoppage of the game when it rained.

Hoosick Falls Senior Cody LaFlamme pitched the entire game. Hoosick Falls was behind 3-0 in the early innings but finally scored two runs in the sixth and another two in the seventh. “We had the tying run on second, but we struck out,” said Coach Mike Lilac. “We had a couple of tough innings,” he added. Greenwich was the victor, 5-4.
Last Friday, March 30, Hoosick Falls defeated Maple Hill 8-2 and on Monday they defeated Schuylerville 5-1.
