The contest allows public water suppliers from throughout the County to compete against one another to see which one the residents and visitors who sampled the water would select as the best tasting.
First place went to the Village of Nassau water with second place going to the Village of Hoosick Falls.
The public water supplies that competed and their letters in the competition were:
A – Hampton Manor, East Greenbush;
B – Village of Nassau;

As the winner from Rensselaer County, the Village of Nassau will represent Rensselaer County at the State competition later this year.
