Youth to Youth Berlin has coordinated what it hopes to be several Teen Nights at the Bridgeway Ballroom in Cherry Plain. It is meant to not only be a night of safe, drug-free fun inspired by the Youth to Youth Conference but the first of monthly Teen Nights locally to provide kids with fun safe drug-free entertainment.
The event is also a fundraiser to help cover the costs of sending youth to the Eastern States Youth to Youth Conference in Rhode Island this summer. We are holding this Teen Night to help raise enough money to send as many kids as possible to this conference. It is a positive experience about learning how to be drug-free in a way that previous attendees described as “epic” and “amazing.” We hope that by sending more kids to this conference we can reduce the use of drugs and alcohol in our community.
Teen Night Kick-Off Event
The Teen Night Kick-Off Event is Friday, March 9, from 7 to 10 pm at the Bridgeway Restaurant Ballroom in Cherry Plain.
There will be live entertainment, a DJ, games, prizes and raffles. Tickets cost $3 in advance tickets and $5 at the door. A ticket includes one slice of pizza and one soda.
