Jennifer Austin, biologist and experienced gardener, will conduct a seed starting workshop at the New Lebanon Library on Wednesday, February 8, at 6:30 pm. This event is free and open to the public.
Gardening topics discussed will include benefits and rewards of starting plants from seed, when to begin seeds, which plants should be started from seed and are best suited to the northeast climate, necessary equipment and soil and light requirements. This workshop will help both novice and experienced gardeners start planning their best gardens ever and help them save money, too.
