Town of Hoosick Bookkeeper, Janet DeLuca, recently resigned. “She resigned from all the departments,” said Town Supervisor Keith Cipperly in a phone interview on Monday, December 5. DeLuca was also involved with the Town’s swim program.
Cipperly said Tyler Sawyer of Grafton was appointed her replacement effective December 1. Sawyer was Grafton Town Supervisor from 1998 through 2007. He is again Town Supervisor, completing the term of Allison Kirchner who resigned earlier this year. Having lost the election in November, his term ends this month. Sawyer has been bookkeeper for Grafton for several years. “I think he’ll do a great job,” said Cipperly. “He has a lot of experience, and he will bring a lot to the Town.”
