New Lebanon Library Events

The New Lebanon Library announces the following late September events. All of these events are free and will take place at the Library which is located at 550 State Route 20.
• Family Feed – September 28 – 6 pm, topical food and recipe swap. This month is Snackalicious. Bring in your favorite child friendly snacks to share and a recipe to copy for the group..
• Community Film Night – September 29 – 7 pm, The film is “To Kill a Mockingbird.” In honor of Banned Books Week, join us for a screening of this classic film.
• Family Music and Movement –  September 30 – 6 pm. Develop a strong musical bond with your child through singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening and playing simple instruments. For ages 0-7 and parents.

Library Book Sale
The New Lebanon Library will hold its annual used book sale on Saturday, October 1, from 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday, October 2, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Midtown Mall, Routes 20 and 22 in the center of New Lebanon. Available for sale will be a large assortment of hard and soft cover books, including children’s books, audiobooks, DVDs and music CDs. Most items will be priced from .25 to $2. There will be a special “Bag of Books” sale from 11 am to 2 pm on Sunday. Proceeds benefit the Library.
Donations of items for the sale will be accepted from Monday, September 26, through Friday, September 30. Donations of gently used books (excluding text books and encyclopedias), CDs, audiobooks and DVDs may be dropped off at the Midtown Mall between the hours of noon and 6pm on those dates.
