The Lady Panthers hosted the Greenwich Witches, the Panthers biggest rival in field hockey, in a game that could have big consequences in the future. Defense was the name of the game as the Witches scored at the mid-point of the first half and that single goal was enough to take a hard fought 1 – 0 victory back to Whipple City. The Ladies posted wins over Johnsburg (4 – 0) and Schuylerville (2 -1) during the previous week. Hoosick Falls now has a 3 – 2 overall record. Emily Hoag and Hailey Bugbee lead the scoring with 3 goals each. The Panthers take on Warrensburg on September 23, Emma Willard on September 27 and Salem on September 28.
