St. Mary’s Academy Announces Spring Open House

St. Mary’s Academy is hosting an Open House on Saturday, April 9.  Members of the public are invited to tour the Academy located at 4  Parsons Avenue, Hoosick Falls, from 10 am to 12 pm.
St. Mary’s Academy enrolls students from pre-kindergarten (3 years +) through eighth grade.
St. Mary’s enrichment opportunities include art, athletics, language, music, student government and Odyssey of the Mind.
New Principal
St. Mary’s Academy is proud to introduce new Principal, Maureen Daurio. Ms. Daurio will be on hand to answer questions regarding enrollment during the open house. Prior to joining St. Mary’s, she taught Middle School Social Studies and Religion at St. Casmir in Albany for nine years and Blessed Sacrament in Albany for one year.  Maureen also served as Drama Club Director and Girls’ Basketball Coach during her teaching years.  She received her degree in Administration from the College of Saint Rose.
St. Mary’s teaching staff will also be available to give classroom tours, discuss curriculum and the advantages of small class sizes in the learning environment.
Younger siblings are welcome to attend. St. Mary’s will offer adult supervision as well as refreshments, an obstacle course and arts and crafts for the kids.
St. Mary’s Academy is celebrating 120 years of excellence in Catholic Education and welcomes children of all faiths in our school community.
