HFCS Girls Take Two Out Of Three

On Tuesday evening, February 8, the HF girls defeated Granville away, 55-48. Nicole Marmillo had 22 points for the Panthers and Frankie Pearson scored 17.
On Saturday afternoon, February 6, at home, HF faced Greenwich. The Panthers got off to a good start, 10-7, at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was all Greenwich, and they led 24-14 at the half. HF stayed with Greenwich for the next half but couldn’t overcome the deficit. Frankie Pearson had 16 points; Alexis Hagadorn had eight, and Nicole Marmillo, seven.
Last Friday evening, February 5, at home HF defeated Tamarac 35-25. Nicole Marmillo scored 14 points; Samantha Skott had 7, and Hagadorn and Pearson had 5 each.
The Hoosick Falls Lady Panthers are 7-9 overall and 4-8 in League play. Five foot three inch Sophomore Frankie Pearson leads the team with 172 points to date, followed by five foot five Junior Nicole Marmillo with 168. The next game for the HF girls is Friday, February 11, Senior Night. They play Hoosic Valley, the WASAREN League first place team.
