Hoosick Falls Bowlers Reach Highest Pin Count Of Season

December 23, 2010 By eastwickpress

The Hoosick Falls bowling team beat Granville by the score of 4 to 0 on Monday, December 20, in Granville. They had their highest total pin count of the season with 3,836 pins to Granville’s 3,107. Hoosick Falls’ record is now 23-1, and Granville is 18-14.
Granville was led by Patrick Loomis with a 219-604.  Hoosick Falls’ top bowlers were Cody LaFlamme 253-722, Joe Wolfrum 267-704, Chris Pelletier 258-685, James Lynch 268-659 and Mitch Andrew 213-569.
Hoosick Falls also had some good JV scores – Mikaela Marbot 257-645, Josh McCart 240-614, Jordan Colvin 227-605, Ken Marbot 202-566 and Josh Conn 207-539.
“This is the best that we have bowled at Granville in many years. We have really struggled on those lanes in the past, but this year they oiled the lanes, and we had a good shot to hit. We took advantage of the conditions and bowled our best total of the year.  The win kept us in first place in our division, three points ahead of Schuylerville. We still have a lot of matches after vacation but I know that our team will continue to work hard and keep up the good effort.  I was very proud of the entire team in their effort today!” said Coach Lang.
