Re-Scheduled Financial Aid/College Night

November 12, 2010 By eastwickpress

Join us on Thursday, November 18, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for our Financial Aid/College Night being held in the high school auditorium.
Beth Post-Lundquist, Director of Financial Aid at Skidmore College, will acquaint participants with the financial aid process, application procedures and common award practices. Post-Lundquist has over 20 years in both public and private institutions, most recently at Union College and the University at Albany. For the first part of the presentation, Post-Lundquist will present an overview of regulations, forms, formulas and procedures. For the second part of the presentation, she will give parents and guardians pointers on how to complete the FAFSA form.
Dan Lundquist, Vice President at Sage College, will address the four year college process. Lundquist has been the Vice President at Sage College for three years and was the Vice President at Union College for 16 years. He has 40 years of admission and financial aid experience at small private colleges to large Ivy League universities.
All college-bound students and their parents or guardians are strongly urged to attend this valuable workshop. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about the financial aid process and understand aid packages offered by schools as well as to get a detailed overview of the four year college process.
Please contact the High School Counseling Center office at 686-7321 x1510 by Monday, November 15, to RSVP for this important event.
