The $8.3 million Capital Improvement Project at Hoosick Falls Central School is now complete. On Thursday, October 7, at 6 pm the school will hold a community-wide Open House to offer residents the opportunity to view the many and diverse physical plant improvements and updates at the school. The overall benefit of the building project to the school facility is impressive. The school has a new roof, new energy efficient windows and lighting, new drainage on playing fields, improved safety measures for students and staff, new concession stand and bleacher system and a new parking lot, and the campus is ADA compliant. The original bond vote to approve the project was held on October 24, 2006, and the work was completed over the course of four summers.
National Honor Society students will provide tours of the school, and refreshments will be served. The HFCS Board of Education, Staff, Faculty and Administration are looking forward to seeing you on the evening of October 7.
