The Hoosick Falls football team continued its winning streak with a 34-6 win over the Granville Horde under the Friday night lights of Ken Baker field on September 24.
Tanner Williams took the ball to the end zone 3 times to lead the Panthers. He ended the evening with 146 combined rushing and receiving yards.
An exciting third quarter defensive play by senior Quinn Rasmus found him hustling 84 yards to set up for a Mike Brewster touchdown. Granville’s Jacob Jones added six to the board in the final 2 minutes of the contest.
“From a physical standpoint, we made a number of big plays, great catches, big hits and our effort was good, however we did not play as disciplined as usual. We will work on strengthening that aspect of our game” said Head Coach Ron Jones.
The 4 and 0 Panthers face off against the Hoosic Valley Indians on Saturday at 1 pm.
