Corn Maze At Kettle Farms

This year Tammy’s Candy Kettle on NY Route 7 has more to offer than ever before. Besides the 22 acre corn maze, which is touted as the largest corn maze on the east coast, there are corn cannon and pumpkin slingshots, moonlight mazes and flashlight nights, country music jams, contests and much more. The maze has four separate sections for a total of 8.8 miles of trails.
Admission is $9 for ages 12 and up. The cost is $7 for children 4 to 11, children under 3 enter free with a paying adult. Groups of 20 or more, which must be pre-scheduled, receive $2 off each admission.
The Corn Maze opened September 4 and will close November 7. Mondays and Thursdays it is open from noon to 6 pm. Tuesday and Wednesday it is open by appointment only. It is open Fridays from noon to 10 pm, Saturdays from 10 am to 10 pm and Sundays from 10 am to dusk.
Military personnel, police and firefighters with a badge or ID receive $2 off admission. Community Day is Saturday, September 25. Bring a non-perishable food item for the HACA Food Pantry from 1 to 5 pm and Tammy’s will take $1 off admission to the maze. Special discounts for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies, Cub Scouts and Guides will be offered on October 2 and 3. Reservations are required.
Moonlight mazes are Friday and Saturday, September 24 and 25, and October 22 and 23. Other Friday and Saturday nights are flashlight nights.
The Moonshine Pickers Country Music Jam will be Sundays, September 26 and October 10, from 1 to 6 pm. Columbus Day weekend there will be a Fall Festival with old fashioned family games and prizes. On Saturday, October 9, there will be a Corn Husking Contest for children ages 3 to 6 at 1:30 pm, followed by a Corn Stalk Art contest at 2. Entries for the Scarecrow Contest will be accepted from October 1 through 22, with judging on October 23. A Halloween Bash, geared for youngsters 10 and under, will be held on Saturday, October 30, from 10 am to 6 pm. Those in costume will receive $1 off admission to the maze and a Masquerade Parade and Costume Contest will be held at 3.
