September events at the Brunswick Community Library at 4118 State Rt. 2 are:
• Storytime for ages up to 5 is held every Saturday at 11 am.
• Old Daley Chicken BBQ is on Friday, September 10, to benefit the Library. The BBQ will be held at the Wal-Mart Plaza on Route 7 from 4 to 7 pm. Dinner is $10 and includes potato, coleslaw and dessert. Buy your tickets at the Library now!
• The Friends of the Brunswick Community Library will meet at the Library on Saturday, September 11, at 10 am.
• The Tuesday Night Book Group will meet on September 14 at 7 pm to discuss Lost by Alice Lichtenstein. The title for the October meeting is The Reserve by Russell Banks.
• “Intro to eBay®” will be presented on Tuesday, September 14, to show you the best practices to become a successful seller on eBay®.
• “Re-Thinking Religion,” a four session monthly book discussion series brought to us via the New York Council for the Humanities, begins on Wednesday, September 15, from 6 to 7:30 pm. The first book is Paradise Park by Allegra Goodman, and is available for loan at the Library now.
• The Book and Movie Group meets on the 17th and 24th of September at 1 pm, to discuss and watch The Group by Mary McCarthy.
