The tale of Hansel and Gretel has been adapted to various media, most notably the opera Hänsel und Gretel (1893) by Engelbert Humperdinck which will be performed at Hubbard Hall beginning on August 13. This year’s production of Hansel and Gretel is fully costumed and staged, sung in English with a 30 piece orchestra – which should truly sound fabulous in the Hall – under the baton of Maestro Ricciardone. Performances are on August 13, 14, 19 and 20 at 8 pm and August 22 at 2 pm. It is open seating. Tickets cost $30 for general admission, $25 for Hubbard Hall Members and $20 for students, children and seniors.
Hubbard Hall is located at 25 East Main Street in Cambridge, NY. For more information on this and all Hubbard Hall programs, please call 518-677-2495 or visit our website at www.hubbardhall.org.
