The Hoosick Falls Central School Varsity Baseball team had a fantastic season winning a dozen games and losing only four. They have been crowned 2010 WASAREN League Champions. The team’s winning record is three times what it was last year. Pitchers Adam Ferrannini and Cody LaFlamme did a phenomenal job throughout the season,

and they had great defensive support to back them up. It was a terrific season for both offense and defense. The team entered the sectional fray seeded number 2 and defeated Voorheesville 3-1. Unfortunately their run ended last Saturday evening, May 30, in Bleeker Stadium in the Class CC semifinal game with a 7-2 loss to Canajoharie. It was the final season for seniors Jake Colliano, Adam Ferrannini, Seth Foster and Stephen Mosley, but there is always next year for juniors Taliesin Beriau, Mike Brewster, Steve Colvin, John Lancour, James Lynch and Andy Tudor, sophomores Cody LaFlamme, Alex Lilac, Josh Mulready and Tanner Williams and freshman Randy Tutunjian.
