Rensselaer County Executive Kathleen M. Jimino has announced the winner of this year’s Water Taste Test Contest as the Village of Nassau. The Village will now compete in the regional Water Taste Test Contest to be held later on this summer. The Town of Schodack came in second, the Village of Hoosick Falls third and the City of Troy Public Water Supply placed forth in the annual contest. Over 100 individuals participated in the contest by choosing their favorite and second favorite tasting water.
For those who participated in the contest letter A represented water from the Town of Schodack water district 9, letter B represented water from the Village of Nassau, Letter C represented water from the Village of Hoosick Falls and Letter D represented water from the City of Troy.
