Free “Beginnings!” Program

March 12, 2010 By eastwickpress

Pine Cobble School invites families with children aged 2-4 to its free Beginnings! program. Offered on alternate Tuesdays in April and May, preschool-aged children and their caregivers will participate in creative activities followed by open play on Pine Cobble’s beautiful 25-acre campus.
Programs include art activities, French lessons, music time, early sports, yoga and science exploration, all led by Pine Cobble’s early education faculty members.
“I joined the faculty at Pine Cobble in 2004, and I have been so incredibly impressed with the early childhood education here,” said Lynn Bizzi, who teaches in Pine Cobble’s Beginners’ classroom and who will be leading the yoga workshop for Beginnings! “I’m so excited we get a chance to share our offerings with all area children.”
Beginnings! includes the following programs:
Tuesday, April 13 – Circle Time and creative project with Beth Callahan
Tuesday, April 27 – Art with Linda Bernard and beginning French with Madame Gilooly
Tuesday, May 4 – Music with Mary Pierson and early sports with Andy Walak
Tuesday May 11 – Yoga with Lynn Bizzi and Science with Sarah Benton
All programs will take place between 9:30 and 10:30 am in the Flinton Lower School Building at Pine Cobble School, 163 Gale Road, in Williamstown, MA. Children must be accompanied by a parent or a caregiver.
