Congressman Scott Murphy (NY-20) will hold events in the 20th District on Monday, March 8, to continue his focus on the economy, bringing jobs to the area and helping the middle class.
Congressman Murphy will tour Averill Park High School at 1 pm with concerned students, parents and educators to assess the on-the-ground situation and talk with those directly affected by expected budget cuts.
After the tour, the Congressman will host a Congress-on-Your-Corner in Sand Lake at 3:30 pm to discuss the current economic and jobs climate in Rensselaer County with local elected officials and community members. This event will take place at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts, 2880 NY 43 in Sand Lake.
