On Monday, October 5, the New Lebanon Varsity Girls Soccer was defeated by Waterford, 1-2. All the scoring was done in the first half.
The Waterford Goalie, Shannon Hastings, made 8 saves. The New Lebanon goalie platoon made 3 saves, two in the first half by Savanna Wood and one by Lauren Sears in the second half. The New Lebanon goal was scored by Geneva Furlano with Sara Magin assisting. Waterford goals were scored by Jackie Sorensen and Jen Hines. Cassie Storm had one assist.
The New Lebanon Girls Varsity record is now 3-6-1 (League), 3-6-1 (Overall). Waterford’s record is 7-0-2 (League), 8-0-2 (Overall).
