Grafton Elementary School celebrated its first monthly Character Education Assembly on October 2.  The assembly kicked off with the Grafton Fire Department Fire Prevention Week Program. Each month students will come together as a school community to learn about good citizenship and students who are “caught being kind” or displaying the character trait for the month are recognized. Acts of kindness and good character are the monthly themes for the school assemblies.  Student birthdays are also announced at the assemblies.  The assemblies are held the first Monday of each month at 9 am and parents are welcome to attend.
