St. Patrick’s Day Craft – Kids of all ages are welcome on Saturday, March 14, at 2 pm for some stories and a craft project as we get ready for St. Patrick’s Day.

Toddler/Preschool Story Time – Join us for stories, songs and an art project each Wednesday at 10 am led by Rebekkah Corbett, a local educator. 

Sunday Classics Film Series – showcasing classic films in black and white and color that are suitable for all ages.  Join us for popcorn and refreshments as we watch some of the best films from the past. This month’s film is High Noon starring Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly, on Sunday, March 15 at 2 pm in the Library Community Room.

Tween Night – Come join us for our monthly Tween Night for 10-14 year olds.  This month will feature Guitar Hero, board games, pizza and refreshments. Bring your friends on Friday, March 20, at 6:30 .

Twilight Party for Teens – Bring your friends on Saturday, March 21 at 8 PM to view the DVD release of Twilight, starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.  

All events are free and open to the public.  Call the Stephentown Memorial Library, 472 Route 43, Stephentown at 518-733-5750 for information.

Teens are invited to join us for this movie on our big screen, prizes and trivia.   For 9-12 grade students.  Refreshments will be served.  

Teaching Emotional Intelligence to Children – Mo Therese Hannah, Ph.D., a Professor of Psychology at Siena College in Loudonville, NY, will explain the EQ program and how it can help your child. The EQ program encourages inclusion, tolerance of differences and empathy and discourages peer rejection. Join us on Tuesday, March 24 at 7 PM for this informative parenting program. This program is made possible by a Family Literacy Service grant from New York State Library, New York State Education Department.

Pajama Storytime – Wear your pj’s and bring your favorite stuffed animal, along with a parent or caregiver.  We will listen to stories and have some laughs! Join us Thursday, March 26 at 6:30 PM for some family fun!  We will have a special guest reader from Stephentown Elementary School.

SML Unplugged – Gather you singers, songwriters, musicians and poets! Artists of all ages are welcome to join our monthly Open Mic event on Sunday, March 29 at 1 PM. Show off your talents or come to listen.
