The New York State Summer Reading Program at Cheney Library in Hoosick Falls has ended with a total of 21 children completing the reading and 21,796 minutes read. We had 8 exciting programs, including one from Tang at Skidmore College. A lot of fun was had at the end of summer snowball fight in the backyard. This year the LOUSH (Libraries Offer Unexpected Summer Happiness) Prize was won by Cooper Cavanaugh. He and his mom were thrilled because Cooper really needed a bike.
