Teens & Tweens – Volunteer At SML This Summer And Make A Difference
The Stephentown Memorial Library is looking for teens and tweens who are interested in working 2 to 4 hours per week on a variety of interesting projects this summer. Projects will include website development, grant research, art projects, landscaping, program planning and more. Please stop by the Library to fill out an application or send a letter of interest to Laurenne Teachout, Library Director, at step1@uhls.lib.ny.us.
Wanted: Wood Furniture For Library Deck
The Stephentown Memorial Library is seeking donations of wood patio furniture in good condition to use on our public deck space. If you have quality tables or chairs in good condition that you would like to donate, please call the Library and speak with Laurenne Teachout.
Family Movie Night
Start your summer vacation with a night at the movies at SML. Tim Burton’s enchanting version of “Alice in Wonderland” will be shown on Friday, June 25, at 7 pm. The movie is rated PG for fantasy action/violence involving scary images and situations and for a smoking caterpillar. Popcorn and juice will be served.
Summer Reading Kick Off Event
Get ready to Make a Splash at the Stephentown Memorial Library this Summer. Join us on Saturday, June 26, from 1:30 to 4 pm as we splash our way into summer. The front lawn of the Library will be transformed into a water park, and we invite children of all ages to wear their swimsuits and join the fun. Sprinklers, wading pools, water balloons will provide wet and wild fun for all. Watermelon will be served and the details of our summer reading program will be explained. Don’t miss the fun!
