Lack Of Action Leads To A Confrontation

The government of the Town of Petersburgh found itself in disarray this week. Supervisor Mason Hubbard, who had major heart surgery last winter, is intending to resume his position at the head of Town government but is not yet well enough to resume his duties. Phase I Of Stonybrook Development Approved

The Grafton Planning Board meeting on Monday, April 20, scheduled for 7 pm, began at 7:10 when Board members, the Town Attorney Sal Ferlazzo, Town Engineer Russ Reeves and Highway Superintendent Herbert Hasbrouck entered the room together.
The only item on the agenda was the Stonybrook Land/Lake at Sylvan Way development.

Construction To Start On Dougherty Corner

On Tuesday, April 21, Alex Koks purchased the vacant lot at the corner of John and Main Streets where Dougherty’s Restaurant once stood. The first order of business Koks said was to empty the lot of the building remnants and the fill that was placed in there only weeks ago by former owner Bryan Pello.

Grafton Town Board Action – Local Law On Subdivisions Passed

On April 2 a Public Hearing was held on two proposed local laws. The first one dealt with a permit system for traveling over Town roads. The second proposed law enacted penalties for violations of terms and conditions of subdivision approvals. (These proposed laws were incorrectly described in the Grafton Town Board report in the March 27 issue of the Eastwick Press.)
