Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries Are Back!

Valentine’s Day is a very old tradition, thought to have originated from a Roman festival.  For us, it is that time of year when we want to do something nice for our Valentine.  Let Berlin Free Town Library make it easy for you to do this.  Once again, we are selling Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries.  The strawberries are washed, hand dipped in chocolate, decorated with white icing and then put in a nice container for easy gift giving.  Each container holds at least eight strawberries and the cost is still only $10 a package.

Trustees Rebekah Lamphere and Lynne Hewitt look over the strawberries that were left for public consumption at a previous years Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry Sale. File photo.

If you want to order in advance, fill out a form at the Library.  You can also call the Library at 518-658-2231 to reserve a container or two.  Or just stop in and make your purchase.  All strawberries will be ready for pick up on Wednesday, February 13 from 2 to 5 pm and Thursday, February 14 from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm.  This is a sweet treat for that special someone.
