On Thursday, February 26 at 4 pm, Grafton Community Library will present a free program on using the Internet in your job search. Taught by professional job counselors from Rensselaer County One Stop, the program will cover topics including how the Internet has changed the way we look for work, how to effectively search for jobs on the Internet, and how to make sure that employers see your application.
It is the first in a series of eight programs that the library will present this spring covering a wide range of skills necessary for job seekers today. Future topics will include effective resume writing, computer skills for job seekers, acing the interview, and using social media in your job search. Grafton Library staff and community volunteers are also available at the library by appointment to provide one-on-one help with all aspects of your job search. For more information call the library at 279-0580, email director@graftoncommunitylibrary.org, or visit graftoncommunitylibrary.org.
