One Lane Through June
Following the weekend closure and beginning on Monday, June 2, a temporary traffic signal will be installed at Route 2 to allow for a single alternating lane of traffic. This system is expected to remain in place throughout June.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s drivers license. It is imperative that motorists remember to drive carefully through this construction zone, for their own safety and the safety of workers.[/private]
