It was one of those games. The wheels started falling off on the first batter the Panthers faced in the top of the first, and they never stopped falling off until the game was over.

Number 5 seed, arch-rival Greenwich, who had lost twice this year to the fourth-seeded Panthers, came to town looking for a win. And they got it, an 8 – 1 victory over a HF team that struggled offensively and defensively through the game. Frankie Pearson had a triple and went on to score the lone run for the Panthers.
