William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew in Wood Park on Saturday evening, July 24, was brilliant! Under the superb direction of Brian Foley, the acting, choreography and gymnastics were outstanding. It was great fun to have a cast, using limited costumes and props, so completely capture the
imagination of its audience. The cast and crew included individuals from California, Massachusetts, New Jersey and nearby counties. Local talent included Peter Donovan and HFCS Band and Drama Director Robert Allen. Several of the actors had recently graduated from the renowned Circle in the Square Theatre School in NYC. Hoosick Falls folks, sitting in folding chairs and on blankets on a beautiful, if very warm, evening were lucky to be presented with such entertainment.
