According to Hoosick Falls Police Chief Robert Whalen a second attempt was made to break into Thorpe’s Pharmacy last week. This time they tried to kick in the door at the corner of Church and John Streets. They were not able to gain entry. On April 24 the Church Street door was kicked in and thousands of dollars worth of narcotics and pain killers were taken. According to Whalen, the street values of the pills is five to seven dollars apiece. No meth ingredients were taken, he said.
On Wednesday, May 27, Chief Whalen said the case was still under investigation and they had some good leads. “The case is active as we speak,” he said.
