The Lebanon Valley Business Association and the Town of New Lebanon are sponsoring a public forum on Thursday, March 12, at the New Lebanon Firehouse on the corner of Rtes. 20/22 at 6:30 pm.
As a result of the Town’s Comprehensive Plan, an action which was felt to be critical to the future of the community was the initiation and completion of a certified housing study. That action has now been completed with consulting assistance from Nan Stolzenberg of the firm, Community Planning & Environmental Associates and the Laberge Group of Albany, NY. This was made possible by a grant from the Kyle-Fraser Foundation and was a joint venture between the Town of New Lebanon and the Lebanon Valley Business Association.
The next step in the process is to engage and inform the community of the results of the study. Following that, the Town will utilize the information to apply for governmental funding for community improvement making funds available to residents for property maintenance and improvement.
