submitted by Nan Lance The Stephanie Flint Book Club has donated four books to the Berlin Library in memory of their friend and member, Els Murray, who died this past summer. Els Murray loved weaving and the Netherlands, so two adult books and two children’s books about these topics were chosen by the Book Club.

Berlin – Norma Shaw, 88, a lifelong resident of Berlin, NY, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at the Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bennington, VT, after an extended illness. Born in Berlin on April 16, 1923, she was the daughter and only child of the late Byron and Violet Manchester Shaw.
