Two Cars Derail In Hoosick

Two small covered hopper railroad cars fell off the tracks at the old Hoosick depot in Hoosick on Saturday. A small amount of cargo was lost out of the cars onto the tracks. The train moving the cargo appeared to be going very slow from the small amount of damage caused to the track.

Village Board Will Consider Revised Agreement On PFOA Expense Reimbursement

Special Meeting On February 23 At 6 pm by Alex Brooks The Village of Hoosick Falls announced on Tuesday February 21 that it has reached a new, revised agreement with Saint Gobain and Honeywell to reimburse the Village for expenses it incurred dealing with the PFOA crisis over the last two years or so.
