Boy Scouts of America was founded in 1910 and Hoosick Falls Troop 65 has been celebrating throughout 2010.
This year they made every hike, camp-out or community event extra special for the celebration. They even joined forces with other area scouts to create a “Hoosick Falls Salutes 100 Years of Scouting “ T-shirt honoring past and present Troops 63, 64, 65, 67 and 68.

Boy Scouts from Troop 65 display a banner celebrating 100 Years of Scouting recently in Albany at the Times Union Center. They are Adam Frazier, Doug Hoard, Robert Hoard, Carroll Hoard, Dan Suite, Reid Crobok, guest Anthony Mango, Larry Mango Sr., Nick Frazier, Charley Whitman and Bob Frazier. They enjoyed a hockey game between the Albany Devils and the Hershey Bears. They were joined by hundreds of scouts from around the area for one of three special scout nights at the arena.
