Alleged Scam Artist In Stephentown

On August 13 New York State Police from the Schodack barracks arrested Joseph J. Zennaiter of Mechanicville, NY, subsequent to a complaint received from a Stephentown resident. Zennaiter and the complainant signed a contract in September 2009 in which it was agreed that Zennaiter would replace

the siding and windows on the complainant’s residence for a total of $17,000. Zennaiter accepted half the amount down as a deposit, purchased siding for the job and never returned to the site.
Zennaiter was arraigned in the Town of Stephentown Court and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail. If anyone has experienced similar incidents involving Zennaiter please contact SP Schodack at 518-732-4644.
