Hoosick Bridge Construction In The Rain

Work is progressing on the Route 7 bridge over the Hoosic River. The troughs designed to contain the river did the job in spite of the two inches of rain that fell Wednesday afternoon and evening. For years and years the Hoosic River has gnawed away at the underpinnings of the Route 7 bridge necessitating the construction of a new one. (Bea Peterson photo)
