Prizes Offered For Berlin July 4th Parade

The Town of Berlin 2009 July 4th Parade will be held on Saturday, July 4, at 11 am.  This year, in celebration of Independence Day, the committee has chosen the theme “The Four Seasons.”

Library Celebrates “Poestenkill Flag” On July 4

On Poestenkill’s Town Green families and folks of all ages will gather at 9:30 am on the Fourth of July to honor a remarkable flag. More than 140 years ago Poestenkill seamstress Chloe Ives created a 12’ x 20’ Stars and Stripes entirely by hand.

Community Singing In Wood Memorial Park

On Friday nights at 7:30 pm on July 3, 10, 17 and 24 Wood Memorial Park in Hoosick Falls will be humming and jamming and crooning as “Our Community Sings” in a series of free concerts presented by the local performing arts organization “You Gotta Hear This!”
