Boy Scout Camporee
Petersburgh Boy Scout Troop #222 recently participated in the Mahikan District Spring Camporee at beautiful Lake Taghkanic State Park. Through team work and dedication, their patrol placed third overall out of 38

patrols. They earned second in each of the following events: Tug of War, First Aid, Row Boating and Cross Cut Saw. Even the leaders, Joe Burdick and Joe Shupe, with the help of “wedge-man” George Rathbun won the adult-leader cross-cut saw competition with a time of 44 seconds. This week the scouts are working on their archery merit badge.
