Hoosick Falls 2nd In Drinking Water Contest

The winner of this year’s Water Taste Test Contest is the Village of Nassau. Nassau will now compete in the regional Water Taste Test Contest to be held later on this summer. The Village of Hoosick Falls came in second, and the City of Troy Public Water Supply placed third in the annual contest.

While marchers lined up for Monday’s Memorial Day parade in Hoosick Falls, Police Chief Robert Whalen and the Hoosick Rescue Squad responded to a call near the home of Donald Estes on Rogers Ave. at 9:40 am.
