Monthly Book Discussion Group – meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 1 pm. Copies of the current book are available at the Library.

Story Times for preschoolers aged 2-4 (accompanied by parent or caregiver) are held on the last Wednesday of the month at 10 am. Includes stories and a craft project.

Songs and Rhymes is a musical program for children aged 3-5 years (accompanied by parent or caregiver) held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 4 pm. Led by music educator Mary Pierson.

Grafton Library Quilters meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 1 pm. New members are welcome.

Ethel Simmons Memorial Scholarship ($500) is awarded in conjunction with the Grafton Historical Society, to a Grafton high school senior who writes the winning essay on some aspect of Grafton history. Applications are available at the library and are due March 1 each year.

Summer Reading Program runs from July to August. Participants can read independently or as a family. Top readers in each grade, 1-12, are awarded silver medals. Prizes are awarded as incentives for children and teens who complete a weekly goal. T-shirts are the final prize for completing the program and awards are given out at an ice cream party in August.

Grafton Historical Society

Meets at the Grafton Town Hall the 3rd Wed. of the month at 7 pm. The President is Pat Niebuhr. Membership dues are $5. All are welcome. The purpose is to discover, preserve and disseminate the history of Grafton. The Society and the Grafton Community Library sponsor the Ethel Simmons Memorial Scholarship given to a graduating high school senior.
